- My preferred method with my dry skin that is prone to breakouts is to steam my face once or twice a week. This is as simple as boiling a bit of water on the stove. I just hover over the pot with a towel over my head to create a little steam tent. Caution: Steam is HOT, stay at a comfortable distance. You can also add your favorite aromatic herb for extra oomph.

dealing with dry skin and acne
- I use panoxyl which can be bought over the counter and is about £3. Once its absorbed I use a good moisturiser to avoid any irritation. I had medium-severe acne on my cheeks and I use the 2.5 panoxyl. Works really well for me

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
- I always put a moisturizer on before I put on my acne treatment (retin-a). As long as the moisturizer is oil free it doesn't cause pimples. Plus I drink A LOT of water. I think that helps too. I notice a big difference in my skin when I don't.
