Definition:

A common skin rash that causes pink or red bumps on the skin. These bumps resemble small pimples.

Miliaria, more commonly known as heat rash, occurs when the skin becomes overheated and the sweat glands become obstructed and inflamed. The rash often itches.

Although miliaria is most common in babies and young children, it can appear at any age.
