Guide Review - Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser

Finding an acne wash that you like in a sea of cleansing products can seem daunting. But you don't always have to go with an expensive salon brand to get one you really love.

Biore products can be found at nearly any drug store or retail chain and they're a good value. That is just one of the many good points of the Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser.

The "ice" factor of this acne wash is the super cool, mentholated feeling it gives. Although it feels great year round, it's particularly nice during those hot and humid summer days when your skin feels especially oily and grimy.

It has a nice, thick lather that foams up well but rinses away very easily and a clean, but slightly sweet, scent. A few teen boys weren't in love with the smell, but it wasn't a deal-breaker for them.

One thing that really bugged me, though, was the label. Once it got wet a few times from damp hands, it began to peel off the bottle. Not a huge deal really, but it's the tiniest bit aggravating when you reach for the bottle and get a handful of sticky label.

Also, you don't need a full pump, otherwise you'll be drowning in cleanser. A little of this product goes a long way, and just half a pump or so is enough for your entire face and neck. One bottle does last quite a long time, another plus for bargain shoppers.

The best feature of this cleanser is the way your skin feels afterwards: clean and refreshed. If you have oily skin, this cleanser is a must-have for your bathroom shelf.

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser gives exactly what it promises: a cooling cleanser that removes dirt and oil (and makeup!). This oil free formula is great if you have oily skin, it removes the excess dirt and oil without causing a drying effect (with use 2x a day). For thoes of you who love foaming cleansers, this is a great choice. It works up quickly into a thick foam. However, it is easy to overuse this product, as one pump is way more than enough to clean the face and neck. This is a fragranced prouduct, so if you have very sensitive skin or a fragrance allergy, I wouldn't reccomend using this product. However if you don't mind a little fragrance this one is light and refreshing. The ""cooling sensation"" is nice, especially if you wash your face first thing in the morning. I would reccomend using this prouduct as a good cleanser for oily to normal skin. It has a mild acne medication in it (salicylic acid) and will do nicely for a mild case of acne without overdrying skin. As a bonus, the lotion that ""matches"" the cleanser has SPF.
