There's something about having acne that makes people want to chime in and give us advice on how to "fix" it. I get that when friends and family do this, they're really trying to help. Still, suggesting I wash my face more, or try Proactiv or Accutane really isn't helpful. It's hurtful. And, I daresay, it's a bit rude too.
You really don't want to be on the ugly-end of advice giving, right? So here are some things that are always best left unsaid.
I'm sure you've gotten your fair share of insensitive comments, too. What's the rudest thing someone has said to you about your skin, or what is something you think should never be said to someone with acne? Share it here.
