I had never had acne as a teen, just the random tiny pimple here and there. Then, suddenly at the age of twenty-three, I started breaking out almost overnight - huge, red, inflamed nodules under the skin. And I just as suddenly came to appreciate how hard acne is to treat.

It was that personal experience with acne that made me decide to focus on helping others beat this skin problem.
