With the new year upon us, I'd like to take the time to thank some very special people -- you, my readers. Even though I may not know each of you personally, you all hold an important place in my life. So, for all of my dear readers, here are my New Year's wishes for you.
I hope you fully embrace embrace and understand that acne isn't your fault. It's not anything that you've done, or haven't done. It's not anything that you're doing wrong. Some people are just genetically predisposed to acne. It doesn't make it any easier to deal with, but at least you can rest assured that it's not your fault.
I also hope that no matter what, you don't give up. Treating acne can be tough, and it's often a long road, so patience is key. It's so easy to get discouraged when you don't see results quickly, or if a treatment doesn't work at all and you have to try another. Sometimes you just want to scrap the whole thing. But stick with it. Keep at it. Success may be just around the corner.
Of course, my biggest wish for you is that you will find the treatment that works for you. I hope that you see clearer skin this year. It's my heartfelt wish that you will feel good about yourself, that you will feel confidant, that you look at yourself in the mirror and smile.
I've been exactly where you are right now. I know how tough that place can be. But I also know that you can get through it. You can have clear skin again. You can beat acne.
