Although I love microdermabrasion treatments now, when my acne was inflamed I avoided them at all costs. It's best to not have a microdermabrasion treatment done if you have inflammatory acne.
In that case, you'd be better off having an acne facial done, or possibly a chemical peel, if you're set on having a salon treatment done. (The pro doing your treatment will let you know what's best for your skin.)
