Even celebrities aren't immune from acne. R&B singer Usher recounted his own acne-filled teenage years on Saturday's episode of When I Was 17 on MTV.
Usher (and friends who knew him) described how acne made him uncomfortable and ashamed of his skin. He even got called by the most dreaded of all nicknames: pizza face. (I still cringe whenever I hear that one.)
Is it weird that I like hearing about celebs and their skin problems? I don't know if it's the whole "misery loves company" deal or if it's just nice to know that those perfect people aren't really perfect after all.
Of course, Usher's story had a happy ending. His acne cleared up. Knowing that, doesn't that make you feel better about your skin?
