The FDA and Medicis have recalled two lots of SolodynŽ, an antibiotic used to treat moderate to severe inflammatory acne. The recall was announced after one bottle was found to contain the drug AzasanŽ instead. AzasanŽ is prescribed to transplant patients to prevent organ rejection, and is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis.
The recall includes SolodynŽ Extended Release Tablets, 90 mg, 30-count bottles, lot numbers B080037 and B080038. Both lots were manufactured in February 2008 and have December 2009 expiration dates. These are the only two lots affected by the recall.
For more information about the recall, you can visit the FDA's website.

Again, I am dead set on this acne-pen! it is painless, can be used anywhere, and is natural! what more could we ask for? oh, the price is very nice, too!
Here’s my story: I have adult onset acne. Ihave used all kinds of otc washes & creams. Then I gave in after a couple years of trying vitamins, minerals, herbs, and otc stuff & finally went to a dermatologist. I tried their cream, facewash, and oral antibiotic for over a year, sure it helped but at what cost? I have to keep up w/ all the products, I have to go back for follow up appts. and pay for all of it each time, oh, and the antibiotic has it’s issues as well! Then I surfed the net a week ago & found this cute little acne pen that is natural silver & goes onto your skin & helps stop the pimples. I am almost cleared up. I have to say, I use the acne-pen & love it!! It even worked for my
upcoming fever blister! If you haven’t tried it, do! As soon as you feel a pimple soreness, just grab your acne-pen & use it. I keep mine in my pocketbook. Use it at work, use it in the car, waiting room, at my son’s baseball game…….. ..anywhere! It works on
mosquito bites, too! Let me know how you like it, if you tried it.
I have been telling my nieces & nephews to try it, but they haven’t that I know of, yet. If you look into it, let me know!
