FDA Approves New Acne Medication

There is a new treatment option for those with acne. The FDA has recently approved the topical acne gel Ziana. Ziana is the first acne medication of its kind to combine the topical antibiotic clindamycin and tretinoin (Retin A). Ziana is used once per day, and is available by prescription only.
