Understanding Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl peroxide is often used as the first line of defense against acne breakouts. Found in countless over-the-counter and prescription medications, benzoyl peroxide is an effective treatment for mild to moderately severe acne. But how much do you really know about this common acne medication?
